three locations to buy The Sacrament of the Goddess in Thamel jan 28

The Book Release Party is Over!

The concert in Mangal Durbar was a wonderful book event. A thousand people enjoyed the music of an iconic brass band. Since then I feel serene. Good music with good friends will do that for a person. We can’t control the political process or the price of LP gas, but nobody should feel defeated. Hey- I think there’s a person in the book who thinks that way!

IMG_20150125_153723The Sacrament of the Goddess is now for sale in selected bookstores in Thamel, Kathmandu. The first place to find it is “Vajra Book Shop” on Jyatha Marg, the bookstore in the ground floor of the Norling Hotel. IMG_20150125_153729.

Directions:

Go to Thamel (!)

start at Garden of Dreams.

go west on Tri Devi Marg, take your first left (south) onto Jyatha (if you go all the way to Thamel Chowk it’s too far.)

Vajra Book Store is on the  left, under the blue “Norling” sign.

The owner is named Upendra Tulachan. His mobile number is 9841293420.

The second bookstore is also named Vajra Books, and they are also on Jyatha.

At this one, they will also take mail orders and send to other parts of Nepal. Their number is 4220562 or send email to vajrabooks@Hotmail.com the Managing Director’s name is Bidur Dongol.

The Tibet Bookstore on Tri Devi Marg, near Fir and Ice the pizza restaurant, also has it on their shelves. I  have always loved this bookstore, and I’m honored that the book is there.

going to be distributed around other spots in Thamel. If I get a list, I will post it. I’m a person who frequents book stores; sometimes the best books are the ones you found by accident… maybe twenty years from now somebody will be browsing the back shelves of a place in Thamel and come across this…… and fall in love with it.

But it’s time for you to take a read……

The retail price is 500 nrs. When you read it, please post a review somewhere and tell your friends…..
